NO DREAM IS TOO BIG TO ACHIEVE-Elizabeth’s Story
Elizabeth Mwanzia, a 26-year-old (1996) wife and mother of one is a form 4 dropout who is currently unemployed. She previously used to sell second-hand clothes but stopped because the demand for her products was not high and it was too expensive for her to transport goods from Nairobi to Machakos.
Elizabeth had come to purchase vegetables when she heard about the program. She was very excited about this as she had plans of starting a poultry business. She however lacked the proper knowledge and was doing it by luck.
She has kept local chicken before to sell in case of emergencies and carry out important transactions.
Elizabeth wants to have her own poultry business and even one day own an incubator. She hopes to supply her products wholesale to big players in the market. She also wants to go to a beauty class and have some skills to start her own salon business one day.
